CONSTABLES RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION HAS BEEN GIVEN BY THE SIKKIM POLICE AND INVITING APPLICATION FORMS FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES AND THE DETAILS ARE AS GIVEN BELOW


NAME OF THE POST :POLICE CONSTABLES 
VACANCY : 18 POSTS
SALARY AND PAY : Rs. 5200-20200 plus grade pay of Rs. 2400
AGE LIMIT : CANDIDATES AGE MUST BE 18 TO 22 YEARS AS ON 1 MAY 2012
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS  : Minimum class XII passed with Physics, Chemistry, Maths from recognized board
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Are as given below

1. Height - 5’3” minimum for male -5’ min. for female
2. Chest: -32” min. with min. 2” expansion for male.
3. Weight -50 Kgs. min. for male -45 Kgs. min. for female 

DOCUMENTS AND CERTIFICATES  NEEDED : Are as given below

1. Sikkim Subject/COI,
2. Valid local employment card,
3. ST/SC/MBC/OBC Certificate,
4. Educational qualification certificate/mark sheet,
5. Birth certificate,
6. NOC from Head of Department in case of Govt. servant.

SELECTION PROCEDURE  : Candidates would be selected through the given below tests

1. Physical Measurement,
2. Written Examination on Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and General Knowledge.
3. Physical Efficiency/Endurance Test (PET).
4. Viva-voce.

WRITTEN EXAMINATION DATE AND CENTER : Written Examination will be held on 9th June, 2012 at Tashi Namgyal Academy.
SYLLABUS AND MARKS : The syllabus and marks for the Physical Efficiency test and the written test may be collected from the office of the IGP, Communication & Computers while obtaining application  forms
APPLICATION FEE : Rs 50 /-
APPLICATION FORM  : PRESCRIBED APPLICATION FORMS can be obtained from the office of the Inspector General of Police, Communications & Computers, Police Headquarters, Gangtok on working days till 4.00PM of 5th June,2012 on production of Bank (SBS) Receipt for Rs. 50/- under revenue head 0055-Police- 800 other receipts. The candidate must fill in application form with his/her own handwriting.
