INDIAN ARMY IS INVITING ONLINE APPLICATIONS FROM THE ELIGIBLE UNMARRIED MALE AND FEMALE ENGINEERING CANDIDATES FOR THE SORT SERVICE COMMISSION 44 SSC[TECH]-MALE AND 15 SSC[TECH]-WOMEN ENTRY COURSE COMMENCING FROM APRIL 2015 AT OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY OTA CHENNAI TAMILNADU . THE DETAILS OF TE NOTIFICATION IN BRIEF IS AS GIVEN BELOW .

  1. NAME OF THE RECRUITMENT : INDIAN ARMY SSC TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME-2015
  2. VACANCY : 119 POSTS[MALE-100 + FEMALE-19 ]
  3. SALARY AND PAY : The candidates will be given a stipend of Rs.21,000/- p.m. (Rs 15,600/- as pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-). On completion of training they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank. Army also provides free Medical Facilities for self & dependents, Canteen facilities, Entitled Ration, Mess/Club/Sports Facilities, Furnished Govt.   4. AGE LIMIT : Candidates age must be 20 to 27 years at the time of commencement of course. Born between 02 Apr 88 and 01 Apr 95 (both dates inclus ive)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates who were completed their engineering graduate be/btech in CIVIL , MECHANICAL , ELECTRONICS / ELECTRICAL , ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION , INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY , COMPUTER SCIENCE AERONAUTICS , AUTOMOBILE , WORKSHOP TECHOLOGY , FOOD TECHNOLOGY , BIO-MEDICAL ENGG , ARCHITECTURE , METALLURGY OR INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING  are eligible to apply .
  6. SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through academic merit and ssb interview .
