 AGE LIMIT : Candidates age for various courses are as given below

1. For IMA-Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1990 and not later than 1st July, 1995 only are eligible.
2. For Indian Naval Academy-Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd JULY, 1992 (2nd JULY, 1990 in case of NCC Naval Wing ‘C’ Certificate hold-ers) and not later than 1st JULY, 1995 only are eligible.
3. For Air Force Academy-Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd JULY, 1991 and not later than 1st JULY, 1995 only are eligible.
4. For Officers' Training Academy-(SSC Course for Men) :Male candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier than 2nd  JULy, 1989 and not later than 1st JULYY, 1995 only are eligible.
5. For Officers Training Academy -(SSC Women Non-Technical Course)Unmarried Women, issueless widowswho have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce docu-ments) who have not remarried are eligi-ble. They should have been born Not ear-lier than 2nd JULY, 1989 and not later than 1st JULY, 1995

SELECTION PROCESS :  Candidates would be selected through written test exam and SSB interview .
SYLLABUS AND EXAM PATTERN FOR THE WRITTEN TEST EXAM : The syllabus exam pattern weight-age of marks time duration model questions are available in the notification which can be download online from the upsc official website at http://upsc.gov.in/exams/notifications/2013/cds2/Notice-cds-II-2013-english.pdf
EXAM FEE : Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from pay-ment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only)either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of  Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
