EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION :-

• PGT : Post graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed with 50% marks.
• TGT : Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed with 50% marks.
• PRT : Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed with 50% marks.

AGE AS ON 01-APRIL-2014 :-

• Fresh Candidates    -  Below 40 years, except forDelhi schools where TGT/PRT should be < 29 yrs and PGT < 35 years
• Experienced Candidates  -  Below 57 years ( Should have minimum 5 years teaching experience in the last 10 years)

SELECTION PROCEDURE :-Selection Procedure Will be done in two stages

• Stage 1: Screening Exam, conducted on the Second Sunday of every year,  for  vacancies that will arise during the ensuing academic year.
• Stage 2:Interview,  Evaluation of Teaching skills    and computer proficiency  will be held under the  aegis    of HQ Commands for Schools under their  jurisdiction.
• The Screening Exam for 2013 will be conducted as under:(a)  Date.   08 Dec 2013(b)  Method. Test will be conducted ON-LINE in the MCQ format.
• To qualify for a post, the candidate must score minimum 50 % marks in each part.

APPLICATION FEE :-The application fee will be Rs 600/-( non refundable).

APPLICATION PROCEDURE :-

• andidates are expected to register ON-LINE for the screening exam by logging onto web-  site  http://awesindia.in  . The registration portal will be open  from  23 Sep 2013 to 21 Oct 2013. Candidates can register from 9AM on 23 Sep 13 to 5PM on 21 Oct 2013.
• Log onto the web-site http://awesindia.in and study the detailed instructions for Registration that will be available on the website.(a)   Fill up the personal information or the application form.(b)  The  system will then  ask  the  candidates  to pay the exam fee ON-LINE.Payment options are  Debit/Credit Cards  or  net banking. A payment gateway has been integrated with the web-site for the purpose  and candidates will beguided through the payment process.
• Once registration is completed,  the  candidates  will get a confirmation that you have  successfully registered yourself. Candidates will also be informed through e-mail and SMS regarding the same.
• Admit cards will be available ON-LINE. Candidates may
• download and print the same. The same should be produced for giving entry to the Exam Centre.

EXAM CENTRES :-A list of  Exam Centres will be available on the Registration Portal. The candidates are required to fill in three choices in order of preference.Effort  will be made to allot the first choice to a candidate.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates should possess M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. in the relevant subject with B.Ed. As per G.O.Ms.No. 361 School Education Department dated 31.12.1999. Candidates should have studied the same subject in Bachelor's Degree and Master’s Degree, both for academic subjects and Languages. For the post of Physical Education Director-Grade-I, the candidates should have any Bachelor's Degree with M.P.Ed. Degree. All degrees should be from UGC/NCTE recognised Universities only. i). Two year Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; or Master’s Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:
a. PGT (English)-English
b. PGT (Telugu)- Telugu.
c. PGT (Maths)-Mathematics /Applied Mathematics
d. PGT (Physics)-Physics/ Electronics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics
e. PGT (Chemistry) – Chemistry with specialization in Inorganic/Organic/Physical Chemistry
f. PGT (Botany) - Botany/Life Sciences/ Bio Sciences/Genetics/ Micro-teology/Bio-Technology/Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
g. PGT (Zoology)-Zoology Life Sciences/ Bio Sciences/Genetics/ Micro - Biology/Bio-Technology/Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany at Graduation level.
h. PGT (History)-History
i. PGT (Geography) – Geography
j. PGT (Commerce) – Commerce with Accountancy/Cost Accounting/Financial Accountancy as a major subject of study. Holders of M.Com in Applied/Business Economics are not eligible.
