INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONNEL SELECTION IBPS HAS GIVEN THE NOTIFICATION FOR COMMON INTERVIEW FOR PO / MT 2012 PROBATIONARY OFFICER AND MANAGEMENT TRAINEE 2012 AND THE NOTIFICATION SAYS AS FOLLOW

With reference to the advertisement released by IBPS and published in Employment News dated 17-23 March 2012, for the Second Common Written Examination for recruitment of POs/MTs (CWE-PO/ MT-II) in Public Sector Banks (PSBs), IBPS has been authorised by the Competent Authorities to conduct Common Written Examination (CWE) and co-ordinate holding of Common Interview (CI) by Participating Public Sector Banks.
IBPS has declared the results of the Common WrittenExamination on its website www.ibps.inand all the candidates who have been declared successful in CWE PO/MT-II will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to beconducted by Banks. The interviews are scheduled from the middleof January 2013. An email and sms intimation regarding the date, time and centre of Common Interview will be sent tocandidates to the details specified by the candidate in the online application form while registering for CWE PO/MT-II. Candidates are also advised to regularly keep in  touch with the IBPS website for updates. Candidates will be required to download their call letters from IBPS websitein the first week of January 2013. Please note that any request regarding change in date, centre etc. of interview will  not be entertained. However the right to change the date/ venue/ time/ centre etc. of interview by the conducting agenciesis reserved. IBPS will subsequently declare the result of CommonInterview and will issue a notification giving thevacancies in Participating PSBs. The order of preference of banks will be obtained from successful candidates through a registration process which will be available on IBPS website. Candidates, successful in both the CWE-PO/MT-II and Common Interview will be listed in the order of merit. Depending on the vacancies in each bank of his/ her preference, a successful candidate will receive through a computerised system an offer from oneof the Participating PSBs. Vacancies remaining unfilled on account of candidates declining offer, will be filled from among the remaining candidates,through subsequent iterations.

IMPORTANT DATES :

• Download of call letters for Common Interview :  After 01.01.2013
• Conduct of Interview :  14.01.2013 onwards
• Declaration of result of Common Interview :   Mid February 2013
• Notification of vacancies of each of the Participating Banks :  Third week of February 2013
• Registration of order of preference for banks by the successful candidates :  Fourth week of February 2013
• Allotment :  March 2013

CWE SCORE CARD : IBPS will print the Score Cards for each of the qualifying candidates and will send the same by Registered/ Speed post to each candidate at the correspondence address specified in his/ her online application.
VALIDITY OF CWE SCORE CARD : The scores awarded to candidates, who qualify in CWE-PO/MT-II, will be valid for one year from the date of issuance of the scorecard and will be considered for recruitment exercises during that period. Candidates who have been declared as qualified in the previous CWE (I) are also permitted to apply, if they wish to improve their scores and/or keep the scores valid for a further period of 1 year from the date of issuance of scorecards of this CWE (CWE-PO/MT-II).

CALL LETTERS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION :  The date of the Written Examination has been tentatively fixed for 17.06.2012 (Sunday). However, the date of Examination shall be intimated in the Call Letter along with the Centre/Venue address. All eligible candidates should download their call letter from the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in by entering his / her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth, after 04.06.2012. The Information Handout is also available on IBPS website and candidates may download the same. No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout will be sent by post/ courier.
Candidates have to bring their Written Examination call letter along with their photo identity proof in original as well as a photocopy while attending the written examination and will have to submit the Written Examination call letter and photocopy of photo-identity proof in the examination hall.
