ASSAM POLICE IS INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR ASSISTANT AND STENOGRAPHER GRADE-III FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES AND THE DETAILS ARE AS GIVEN BELOW

1. JUNIOR ASSISTANTS Jr ASST Jr ASSTTS    -   VACANCT  :  60 POSTS    -  AGE LIMIT  : Minimum age limit of the candidate should be 18 (eighteen) Years and maximum of 38 (thirty eight ) years as on 01 JANUARY 2012.   -   SALARY AND PAY  : Pay Band – II Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + Grade Pay - Rs. 2,200/-         -     ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA [A]  : The minimum educational qualification for the posts of Jr. Asstt. is HSLC Examination passed from the Board of Secondary Education, Assam/CBSE. Diploma in Type writing / Computer is necessary   -   ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA [B] : Candidates must have registered their names in the Employment Exchange in the State of Assam and Caste Certificate from the Competent Authority (for Reserved Categories ) should be submitted alongwith the application with two copies of recent passport size Photographs and attested copies of all testimonials  -  SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through written test ,typing and computer test and interview 
2. STENOGRAPHER Gr-III   -  VACANCY : 10 POSTS    -  SALARY AND PAY  : Pay Band – II Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + Grade pay - Rs. 2,900/-    -  AGE LIMIT : Minimum age limit of the candidate should be 18 (eighteen) Years and maximum of 38 (thirty eight ) years as on 01 JANUARY 2012    -  ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA[A] : The minimum educational qualification for the posts of Stenographer , Grd.- III is HSLC Examination passed from the Board of Secondary Education, Assam/ CBSE with holder of National Trade Certificate ( under ITI’s Assam ) or any other Institute recognized by the Govt. of Assam with 80 WPM in English Stenography  -   ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA [B] : Candidates must have registered their names in the Employment Exchange in the State of Assam and Caste Certificate from the Competent Authority (for Reserved Categories ) should be submitted alongwith the application with two copies of recent passport size Photographs and attested copies of all testimonials  -  SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through written test ,typing and dictation test , viva -voce  and interview

APPLICATION FEE : Candidate will submit Treasury Challan of Rs. 50/- ( Rupees Fifty ) only for General Categories and Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five ) only for S.C / S.T. Categories to deposit under the Head of Account “ 0055- Police Receipt.” Money Order / Cash / Cheque / Bank Draft etc. in lieu of Treasury Challan will not be accepted even on the plea of Postal Delay .
