APSC M&HO MEDICAL AND HEALTH OFFICER RECRUITMENT 2013
ASSAM PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSIONinvites application from eligible Indian Citizens for the recruitment of MEDICAL AND HEALTH OFFICER M&HO-I AND ASSISTANT PROFESSORS posts under Assam Government and the details of the recruitment notification in brief is as given below .
I.DETAILS OF THE VACANCY :-
A.NAME OF THE POST :Medical and Health Officer-I (M&HO-1) under Health & Family welfare(A) Deptt.
1.NO.OF POSTS : 450 (Four hundred fifty only)
2.PAY SCALE :-Rs. 12,000/- to Rs.40,000/- with Grade pay of Rs. 5400/- P.M plus other usual allowances as per rules and n addition there is a provision of payment of rural incentive @ 4000/- per month
3.AGE LIMIT AS ON 01-01-2013 :- Not less than 21years of age(minimum) and not more than 38 years of age(maximum).
4.EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :-Minimum MBBS qualification having Registration under
Assam Medical Council, 1960.
B.NAME OF THE POST :A.Assistant Professors in Cotton College, Guwahati under Higher Education Department.
1.NO.OF POSTS : 33.
C.NAME OF THE POST : 1.Assistant Professors in Haflong Govt. College, Haflong under Higher Education Department.
2.NO.OF POSTS : 27
3.AGE LIMIT AS ON 01-01-2013 :-Not less than 21years of age(minimum) and not more than 38 years of age(maximum)
4.PAY SCALE :-Rs. 15,600/- to Rs.39,100/- with Grade pay of Rs. 6000/- P.M plus other usual allowances as per rules.
E.EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :-
1.Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or and equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed ) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from anIndian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2.Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET and candidates having Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants
Commission Regulations , 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
III.SELECTION PROCESS :-
1.Depending upon the number of applications recieved,the commission may short-list the number of candidates either on the basis of their marks obtained OR By holding Screening test (Multiple choice objective type written examination).
2.The list of candidates whose applications are foundvalid or rejected after scrutiny will be made available in the Assam Public Service Commission’s website (www.apsc.nic.in) showing grounds of rejections in due course.
IV.HOW TO APPLY :-Application forms are obtainable from the Issue & Receipt Section of the Assam Public Service Commission OR by downloading the same from the APSC website www.apsc.nic.in .
2.Applications which are signed by the candidates andaccompanied by all particulars including original Treasury Challan for Rs. 5.00 (Rs. 2.50 for SC and ST) as application fee showing name of post and Department and also full Head of Account ‘NON TAX REVENUE-OTHER NON TAX REVENUE-0051-PSC, 102-STATE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION APPLICATION/ EXAMINATION FEE RECEIPT OF A.P.S.C.’ as called for in the application form supplied bythe Commission only shall be considered and candidates fulfilling all the terms of the advertisement of the respective posts shall be called for a Screening test or Viva-voce interview where necessary as decided by the Commission.
3.Applicants must affix 1 (One) copy of recent photograph on the space provided in the application form firmly.
