DAMODAR VALLEY CORPORATION IS INVITING ONLINE APPLICATIONS FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF GRADUATE ENGINEERS TRAINEES GETs POSTS FOR GATE-2012 QUALIFIED CANDIDATES AND THE DETAILS ARE AS GIVEN BELOW

1. Graduate Engineer Trainees (Electrical) : 76 POSTS (GEN-38,OBC- 22, SC-13,ST-3) -  EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS  : Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics from a recognized Indian University with not less than 65% marks (General/OBC)/60% marks (SC/ST) in aggregate as per conversion formulae of the concerned  University /Institution
2. Graduate Engineer Trainees (Mechanical)  : 116 POSTS (GEN-55,OBC-50 ,SC- 07,ST-4)  -  EDUCATIOANL QUALIFICATIONS  : Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical/Power Plant Engg. from a recognized Indian University with not less than 65% marks (General/OBC)/60% marks (SC/ST) in aggregate as per conversion formulae of the concerned  University/Institution
3. Graduate Engineer Trainees (C&I)  : 18 POSTS (GEN-06,OBC-08, SC-01,ST-3) - EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS  : Full time Bachelors Degree In Engineering / Technology in Instrumentation & Control / Instrumentation / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation /Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication from any recognized College / Institution / University, approved by AICTE, with not less than 65% Marks (For General/OBC) & 60% Marks (For SC/ST) in aggregate as per conversion formulae of the concerned University/Institution
4. Graduate Engineer Trainees (IT)  : 06 POSTS (UR-04 OBC-02)  - EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS  : Full time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc.(Engg.) Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science from recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 65% marks (General/OBC)/60% marks (SC/ST) in aggregate as per conversion formulae of the concerned University/Institution
5. Graduate Engineer Trainees  (Commn.)  : 01 POST (GEN-01)  -  EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology in Electronics & Tele- Communication/Tele-Communication Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering from any recognized College/Institute/University, approved by AICTE with not less than 65% marks (For  General/OBC)/60% Marks (For SC/ST) in aggregate as per conversion formulae of the concerned University/Institution

SALARY AND PAY : Rs 15,600- 39,100/ in PB-3(GP Rs 5,650)
AGE LIMIT : Candidates maximum age must be 29 years as on 1 january 2012

SELECTION PROCESS : The candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion (GD), Psychometric Test (PT), & Personal Interview (PI) on the basis of GATE- 2012 marks out of 100 in order of merit in the ratio of 1:5 to the number of vacancies in each discipline and category for further selection process. DVC reserves the right to increase or decrease the ratio, if required. Mere being qualified in the GATE-2012 Examination shall not vest any right in a candidate to be called for GD & Personal Interview.
