TAMIL NADU PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION IS INVITING ONLINE APPLICATIONS FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF MVI MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTOR POSTS FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES AND THE DETAILS ARE AS GIVEN BELOW
NAME OF THE POST : MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTOR MVI 
VACANCY : 17 POSTS
SALARY AND PAY : Rs.9,300 - 34,800/- (PB2) + 4,400-G.P (PB2)
AGE LIMIT : minimum age limit should be 21 years and mo maximum age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all Castes and for OTHERS 32 years as on 1 JULY 2012
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Minimum General Educational Qualification.And  Any one of the following Qualifications (3 years course) awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu. A Diploma in Automobile Engineering Or A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
EXPERIENCE : Experience of having worked for a period of not less than one year both on vehicles fitted with Petrol Engines and Vehicles fitted with Diesel Engines on a full time basis in an Automobile workshop which undertakes repairs of Light Motor Vehicles, Heavy Goods Vehicles and Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles. And Must hold a Driving Licence Authorising him to Drive Motor Cycle. Heavy Goods Vehicles and Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles. And Must have experience in Driving Heavy Transport Vehicles for a Period of not less than six months
SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through written test exam and interview .
