SALARY AND PAY : SCALE OF PAY Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
AGE LIMIT : Candidates minimum age msut be 18 years and for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all Castes No Maximum Age limit . For others maximum age limit must be 30 years as on 1 JULY 2013 .
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : B.V.Sc Degree and Must be a Registered Veterinary practitioner under the Indian Veterinary council Act 1984 (Central Act 52 of 1984)
SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through computer based ojective typr written exam and oral interview .
SYLLABUS : The syllabus can be download online from the TNPSC official website at www.tnpsc.gov.in
TNPSC HALL TICKET DOWNLOAD : The Hall Tickets for eligible candidates will be made available in the Commission’s Website  www.tnpsc.gov.in or  www.tnpscexams.net for downloading by candidates. No Hall Tickets will be sent by post.
APPLICATION FEE : Rs.300/- (Rupees three hundred only) be paid by all the candidates. (i.e. Cost of Application Rs. 50/- + Examination fee Rs.250/-) . Candidates have also to pay the service charges applicable to the Bank or Post Office or Fee Processing Agency. Candidates can avail of the facility of one time Registration on payment of Rs. 50/- towards Registration fee. The rgistration shall be valid for a period of Five years from the date of one time registration.

• Candidates are first required to log on to the TNPSC’s website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net.
• Click “Apply Online” to open up the On-Line Application Form.
• Select the name of the post or service for which you wish to apply.
• If you already have Unique ID, please enter the Unique ID and password to view the already available information and update them, if necessary.
• If you do not have valid ID, please enter all the required particulars without skipping any field.
• Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature. An online application is incomplete without the photograph and signature upload.
