CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION CBSE DELHI HAS ISSUED THE NOTIFICATION FOR CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST CTET JULY 2013 FOR PROVIDING ELIGIBILITY TO APPOINT AS A TEACHER FOR CLASSES I TO VIII AND ALSO INVITING ONLINE APPLICATIONS FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES . BELOW I AM PROVIDING THE CBSE CTET JULY 2013 NOTIFICATION DETAILS IN BRIEF . CHECK YOUR ELIGIBILITY BEFORE PAYING THE FEE AND APPLY ONLINE APPLICATION SUBMISSION .

NAME OF THE EXAM : CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST CTET JULY 2013
CONDUCTING AUTHORITY :  CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION CBSE DELHI
DATE OF THE CTET JULY 2013 EXAM : 
  • PAPER - I  :: 28.07.2013   10.30 TO 12.00 HOURS  1.30 HOURS
  • PAPER - II :: 28.07.2013   13.30 TO 15.00 HOURS  1.30 HOUR
APPLICABILITY OF TET JULY 2013: The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh,Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu and Dadra  & Nagar Haveli  and NCT of Delhi.ii  CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.iii  Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET  conducted by  the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET
CTET JULY 2013 EXAM PATTERN : The CTET examination will be of objective type  Multiple  Choice  Question (MCQ’s). There will be no negative marking. There will be 2 papers of CTET.
  • Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. 
ELIGIBILITY / EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : As given below
  • FOR PAPER-I : Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). ==  OR  ==  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. == OR === Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). == OR ==  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. == OR ==  Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
  • FOR PAPER-II : Minimum Educational Qualification for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). == OR  ==  Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). ==  OR  ==  Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. ==  OR  ==  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). == OR  == Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed. == OR ==  Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)
 CTET-2013 FEE DETAILS: Candidates need to pay the fee as given below

  • FOR PAPER-I OR PAPER-II : Rs 500/- for GENERAL/OBC candidates and Rs 250/- for SC/ST/DIFF ABLED candidates
  • FOR BOTH PAPER-1 AND PAPER-2 : Rs 800/- for GENERAL/OBC candidates and Rs 400/- for SC/ST/DIFF ABLE  candidates

 MODE OF FEE PAYMENT : The fee can be remitted in the following ways:
  • Through Challan  by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or e-Post Office in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
  • By Debit/Credit Card
APPLY PROCESS : Candidates need to apply online only . The apply online application submission link apply process how to apply details are available at WWW.CTET.NIC.IN   WWW.CBSE.NIC.IN  .  The candidate should supply all  the  details while filling up the ‘On-line’  Application. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation page after successful submission of data,  which has to be sent to CBSE, CTET Unit,  after  affixing a passport size photograph and signature in the space provided, along with the Bank Draft.
