PSPCL PSTCL LINEMAN RECRUITMENT 2013-2014 NOTIFICATION

PUNJAB STATE POWER CORPORATION LTd IS INVITING ONLINE APPLICATIONS FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF LINEMAN POSTS IN PSPCL / PSTCL AND THE DETAILS OF THE RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION IN SHORT IS AS GIVEN BELOW

NAME OF THE POST : LINEMAN LINE-MAN LM
VACANCY : 1000 POSTS
SALARY AND PAY : Rs. 10,000/- lumpsum per month
AGE LIMIT : Candidates age must be 18 to 39 years as on  1JANUARY 2014 .
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : i) Matriculation or equivalent qualification and National  Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade. ii) The candidates who possess higher education as  Degree /Diploma in Electrical Engineering pass will be considered only if they have minimum  qualifications as National Apprenticeship Certifica te in Lineman Trade. iii) The candidates who passed  successfully National App renticeship Training Certificate in the trade of Lineman. iv) The candidates  must have done 2 years Apprenticeship in PSPCL/ PSTCL or erstwhile PSEB . The candidates must have passed Punjabi atleast upto Matric Standard with one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language, which may be specified by the Government
from time to time on or before the last date of submission of Application Forms i.e. 16.1.2014
SELECTION PROCESS : Selection will be made purely on merit basis. The merit will be made as per marks obtained in National  Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman trade. The percentage marks obtained shall be rounded off to the nearest 2nd decimal digit for preparing the merit. No weightage shall be given for higher qualifications.
APPLICATION FEE :All categories except SC& Person with disability candidates need to pay an application fee Rs 350 /- , candidates with disability need to pay an application fee Rs 200 /- and the SC candidates need pay an application fee Rs 125 /-
