APPOST POSTMAN MAIL GRARD RECRUITMENT 2014 IN TELANGANA & ANDHRA PRADESH STATES

AP POSTAL CIRCLE IS INVITING ONLINE APPLICATIONS FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF POSTMAN MAIL GUARD POSTS FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES AND THE DETAILS OF THE RECRUITMENT IS AS GIVEN BELOW

NAME OF THE POST == VACANCY :
  • POSTMAN = 379 POSTS
  • MAIL GUARD = 31 POSTS
SALARY AND PAY : Rs. 5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2000 + admissible allowance . No TA/DA is admissible.
AGE LIMIT : Candidates age must be 18 - 27 years as on 18.08.2014 (Upper age limit relaxable for candidates belonging to  scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes up to five years and for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes up to three years & others in accordance with the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time). Age relaxation for PH persons and Ex Servicemen would be as per extant orders of Govt. of India issued from time to time.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates who passed SSC/SSLC/10th CLASS X / MATRIC from a recognised board are eligible to apply .
SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through written test exam only .

APPLICATION FEE : cost of application form is Rs 100/- and exam fee would be Rs.400/- .Woman candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically handicapped and Ex - servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of Examination fee . The concession is applicable to the candidates who apply for the unit where vacancies are available for the relevant category. If they apply against OC vacancies the fees prescribed for OC category has to be paid .The candidates have to pay the prescribed fee mentioned above through “Sunayasam” in any Head Post Office in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana States
APPLY PROCESS : The procedure to apply online is as given below .
  1. The Prescribed Fee (application fee and Examination fee ) has to be paid  through“Sunayasam"
  2. The Fee is to be credited under “Sunayasam Head:Postman Recruitment 2014.” at the Head Post Office with the details Name of the Applicant , Gender, Category, Special Category as per Matriculation/ SSC Records & Mobile Number for getting SMS.
  3. The Candidate has to collect the receipt from the counter and check the correctness of the details of Receipt no, mobile no., Pin code, Amount and ensure their correctness.
  4. The Candidate has to wait till SMS is received to his/her mobile number confirming the payment details (This will take 24-48 Hours)
  5. After receipt of SMS the candidate is eligible for applying to the post through online mode.
  6. For applying, the candidate has to browse the website www.appost.in
  7. Before applying online the candidate has to keep all the relevant documents ready for entering the data as per the certificates (like DOB Proof, Certificate of caste, Ex Service man ,PH Certificate etc).
  8. The Candidate has to keep ready of soft copies of his/her recent passport size photograph in JPG format(size not to exceed 20 KB).
  9. The Candidate has to keep ready a soft copy of his/her signature made on a piece of paper with black ink in JPG format (size not to exceed 10 KB).
  10. The Candidate has to update all the mandatory fields and confirm the declaration.
  11. The Candidate has to look at preview for verification and correctness of data fed before submitting his/her application.
  12. The Candidate has to submit the application by clicking“Save”button.
  13. Since preview option is provided before saving the application, no correspondence will be entertained for modifying the application.
  14. The Candidate can take the print out of the application and keep for further correspondence. They should not submit printouts of their application.
  15. Provision has been made to the candidates to know the status of application submitted through a grievance provision which is available in the website www.appost.in
