Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE has issued the CTET FEB 2014  notification and inviting online applications from the eligible candidates for the central teacher eligibility test 2014 February through the official portal www.ctet.nic.in  . The details of the TET 2014 FEB is as given below in brief  .
CTET 2014 : The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII on 16.02.2014 (Sunday). Candidates can apply only On-line for CTET-FEB 2014 on CBSE/CTET website.
ELIGIBILITY : Candidates need to posses the following educational qualification to apply .
PAPER-1 I : Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). 
PAPER-2 II : Minimum Educational Qualification for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

CTET 2014 EXAM PATTERN : The CTET examination will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ’s). There will be no negative marking. There will be 2 papers of CTET.
  • Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
  • A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).
CETE-FEB-2014 EXAMINATION FEE DETAILS : Candidates need to pay an application fee as mentioned below
  • FOR PAPER I or PAPER-II : Rs 500 /- for GENERAL/OBC candidates and Rs 250 / - for SC/ST/Diff Abled candidates .
  • FOR PAPER-I & PAPER-II : Rs 800 /- for GENERAL/OBC candidates and Rs 400 / - for SC/ST/Diff Abled candidates .

Applications are invited from the eligible Indian citizens who are the Natives/Residents of Union territory of Puducherry by the Directorate Of Schoos Education,Government Of Puducherry for filling up the primary school teachers and tgt trained graduate teachers post and the details of the recruitment notification is as given below in broef .

DETAILS OF THE VACANCY :-
  • Name of the post      :  Primary School Teacher.
  • Pay Band and Grade pay  :  Rs 9,300 – 34,800 + Grade pay Rs. 4200

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :-
  • Age-limit  : Between 18 and 32 years as on  04.10.2013which is the last date of receipt of applications. Age-limit is relaxable for MBC,  EBC, OBC,  BCM  SC, BT, Ex-Servicemen, Meritorious Sports Person and Physically Handicapped candidates in accordance with instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.
  • Educational  qualifications :(i)  A pass in Higher Secondary or its equivalent with 50 % marks in aggregate; and (ii)  Diploma in Teacher Education or Certificate in Basic Teacher’s Training of a duration of not less than 2 years offered by an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. The minimum academic qualification for admission to the Diploma in Teacher Education or Certificate in Basic Teachers Training should be Higher Secondary or its equivalent; and(iii)  Should have studied the particular Regional language (Tamil / Malayalam / Telugu) as one of the subjects  upto Secondary level or as one of the subjects in the D.T.Ed Course or studied Diploma in Teacher Education / Certificate in Basic Teacher’s Training in the relevant medium of instruction.
  • Teacher Eligibility Test  :  Should have passed the Teacher Eligibility  Test conducted by CBSE (CTET)  /  Govt. of Tamil Nadu (TNTET) / Govt. of Kerala (Kerala TET) / Govt. of Andhra Pradesh (AP TET).
  • Nativity / Residence  :a) Nativity by birth: The applicant should have been born in the Union Territory of Puducherry and  should have been ordinarily residing within the Union Territory prior to the date of application. b) Nativity by continuous residence: The applicant should have been residing continuously for five years in the Union Territory prior to the date of application.
SELECTION PROCESS :-There shall be 100 marks for selection. 85 % shall be for marks obtained in qualifying examinations and 15% for Employment Exchange seniority. The 85% marks shall be calculated based on the weighted average of marks obtained by the candidates in Higher Secondary and Diploma in Teacher Education as follows:
  • For every additional attempt made in passing the Higher Secondary, five percentage of marks will be deducted from the overall marks obtained by the candidate.
  • For every additional attempt made in passing the Diploma in Teacher Education, five percentage of marks will be deducted from the overall marks obtained by the candidate.
  • Even if the candidate acquired the qualification within the stipulated period of the course, but made additional attempt(s), 5 percentage of marks will be deducted for every additional attempt(s) made within that period.
  • Attempts made for improvement of marks will also be considered as an additional attempt for the purpose of deduction of marks.

HOW TO APPLY :-Candidates who have fulfilled the above eligibility conditions may submit their duly filled in application to the Directorate of School Education, Puducherry along with the attested copies of the following certificates.
  • Birth Certificate / Board Certificate indicating date of birth
  • S.S.L.C. mark list
  • H.S.C. or its equivalent mark list
  • Diploma in Teacher Education or Certificate in Basic Teacher’s Education with mark lists
  • TET certificate
  • Nativity / Residence Certificate
  • Community Certificate, i.e. MBC/OBC /EBC/ BCM/ SC/BT (Origin Category only)

NAME OF THE TEST : APTET SEP 2013  ANDHRA PRADESH TEACHERS ELIGIBILITY TEST

APTET BACKGROUND : The implementation of the Right of Children to free and compulsory education (RTE) Act 2009 requires the recruitment of a large number of teachers across t he country in a time bound manner. In spite of the enormity of the task, it is desirable to  ensure that quality requirement for recruitment of teachers is not diluted at any cost. It  is therefore necessary to ensure that persons recruited as teachers pos sess the  essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching at the  Elementary  level Classes (I to VIII).
APTET PAPERS : aptet would be conducted in two papers . PAPER-I for CLASSES I TO V and PAPER-II for CLASSES VI to  VIII .
ELIGIBILITY AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : As given below .
  • Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V:  for candidates already in
    possession of Respective Teacher Education Certificates or pursuing final year  of respective Teacher Education Course during 2012-2013 or earlier: Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) wi th at least 45% marks and  pass in or pursuing final year of 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education  OR Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalen t) with at least 50% marks and  pass in  or pursuing final year of  4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education  (B.El.Ed.)  OR Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalen t) with at  least 50% marks and  pass in  or pursuing final year of  2  -  year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
  • Minimum Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII for candidates already in possession of Respective Teacher Education Certificates  or pursuing final year of Respective Teacher Education Course during 2012-2013 or earlier: B.A./B.Sc./B.Com and pass in or pursuing final year of 2  -  year Diploma in Elementary Education. TET EXAM FEE : The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of examination is Rs.200.00. for only Paper I or only Paper II or both. Candidates shall pay the fee through APONLINE or e-Seva centres between  15.07.2013and 31.07.2013  and submit online application at the APTET website http://aptet.cgg.gov.in between 16.07.2013 and 01.08.2013.
PASS CRITERIA OF APTET- SEPTEMBER 2013: APTET  September,  2013  Results will be declared  on 20.09.2013.  The  criteria for considering pass in APTET are as follows:
  • OC  60% Marks and above
  • BC  50% Marks and above
  • SC  40% Marks and above
  • ST   40% Marks and above
  • Differently abled (PH) **  40% Marks and above

WHY TNTET IS GOING TO BE CONDUCTED ?
In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in classes I to VIII. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that he/she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Governmentin accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.
WHO WILL CONDUCT THE TNTET2013 ?
Teachers Recruitment Board is designated as the Nodal Agency for conducting of Teacher Eligibility Test and recruitment of Teachers as per G.O. (Ms) No. 181, School Education (C2) Department, Dated 15.11.2011.
PAPERS IN TET :
  • Paper I  =  Classes I to V (Secondary Grade Teachers)
  • Paper II =  Classes VI to VIII (Graduate Teachers)
ELIGIBILITY :
Candidates should possess the following prescribed qualifications to write the Teacher Eligibility Test :
  • Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Course (10+2 Pattern) and Diploma in Teacher Education / Diploma in Elementary Education (regarding other State D.T.Ed Certificate, evaluation certificate is necessary) in a Recognized Teacher Training Institute / DIET and seeking an appointment as Secondary Grade Teacher for classes I to V (except Visually Impaired Candidates) can write Paper I.
  • Candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. /B.Sc. / B.Litt.) with Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography or a Degree with any one of the equivalent subjects (Regarding equivalent subject, Government orders issued prior to the date of this notification alone will be considered) from a Recognized University under 10+2+3 Pattern and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) from a Recognized University and seeking an appointment as Teacher for classes VI to VIII can write Paper II.
  • Candidates appearing for the Final Year Examination of D.E.Ed / B.Ed during the current Academic Year (2012 – 2013) are also  permitted to appear for the Teacher Eligibility Test. Such Candidate’s should have successfully completed the course in the Current Academic Year (2012-2013) itself and should produce D.E.Ed / B.Ed Certificate during Certificate Verification otherwise they shall not be considered for current year Government recruitment process. However they may be issued with TET Certificate after producing D.E.Ed Diploma certificate / B.Ed Degree Certificate. 
TNTET EXAM CENTERS :
Examination will be held in all the 66 Educational District Headquarters. Candidates should appear for the examination at their own expenses. The board reserves the right to increase the number of examination centers and to re-allot the candidates for administrative reasons.

APPLICATION FORM AND COST OF APPLICATION FORM :
Applications can be received from 17.06.2013 to 01.07.2013 from all the Head Masters of Government Higher Secondary Schools, on payment of Rs. 50/- in cash towards the cost of Application Form and Prospectus.
EXAMINATION FEE :
The Examination fee is Rs.500/- for all the candidates except SC/ST and Differently Abled candidates. For SC/ST and Differently Abled candidates examination fees is Rs.250/-d. The fee should be paid by the candidate in any Branch of the State Bank of India or Indian Overseas Bank or Canara Bank only using the Prescribed Challan attached with the Prospectus.
WHERE TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION FORM?
The filled-in Application Form and the TRB Copy of the Fees Payment Challan must be put inside the envelope provided and submitted in person in the Office of the District Educational Officer. Candidates are advised to get the acknowledgement on the photo copy of the application form.

 WHAT IS HTET ?

ELIGIBILITY :
Level - 1- For becoming Teacher for Classes I-V : Primary Teacher 1.  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and Passed or  appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever  name known)  OR  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  45% marks and Passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever  name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and passed Or  appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed Or  appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).  OR  Graduation and passed or appearing in final year oftwo year Diploma in Elementary  Education (by whatever name known).  2.  Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.
Level - 2- For becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII:Trained Graduate Teacher
  1. TGT Social Studies :: i)  B.A./B.Com and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR B.A. /B.Com with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR B.A. /B.Com with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard; OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year BA/B.Com Ed.; OR B.A./B.Com at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) AND ii) In case of B.A. /B.Com, in addition to English, a combination of at least two subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate individually in the subjects during all the years of study out of the following:- (1)  History (2) Political Science (3) Economics (4) Geography (5) Sociology (6) Psychology Note: At least History or Geography should have been for all the three years of Graduation. iii)  In case of B.Ed., Social Studies as a teaching subject from a recognized university. iv)  Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects.
  2. TGT Science :: i)  B.Sc. and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR B.Sc. with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and  Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard; OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year B.Sc. Ed.; OR B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education); AND ii)  In case of B.Sc., a combination of at least three subjects out of the following:- (1) Physics (2) Chemistry (3) Botany (4) Zoology (5) Mathematics Note: In the case of Hons. Degree, in any of the above mentioned subjects, the candidate must have studied other two subjects in the first and second year of course. iii)  In case of B.Ed., Science as a teaching subject from a recognizeduniversity; iv)  Matric with Hindi/ Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with  Hindi as one of the subject.
  3. TGT Mathematics :: (i)  B.A./B.Sc./B.Com with at least 50% marks in Mathematics as an elective subject and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education;OR B.A./B.Sc. /B.Com with at least 50% marks as well as in Mathematics as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR B.A./B.Sc./B.Com with at least 45% marks as well as50% marks in Mathematics as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard; OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year BA/B.Sc/B.Com Ed. or BA Ed./B.Sc. Ed./B.Com. Ed.; OR B.A./B.Sc./B.Com with at least 50% marks as well asin Mathematics as an elective subject and 1-year B.Ed. (Special ducation); AND (ii)  In case of B.Ed., Mathematics as a teaching subjectfrom a recognized university; (iii)  Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.
  4. TGT English :: (i)  B.A. with at least 50% marks in English as an elective subject and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR B.A. with at least 50% marks as well as in English  as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR B.A. with at least 45% marks as well as 50% marks in English as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard; OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year BA Ed.; OR B.A. with at least 50% marks as well as in English  as an elective subject and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education); (ii)  In case of B.Ed, English as a teaching subject froma recognized university; (iii)  Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.

TGT Hindi :: (i)  B.A. with at least 50% marks in Hindi as an elective subject and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR B.A. with at least 50% marks as well as in Hindi asan elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR B.A. with at least 45% marks as well as 50% marks in Hindi as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations  issued from time to time in this regard; OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. TGT Punjabi :: (i)  B.A. with at least 50% marks in Punjabi as an elective subject and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR B.A. with at least 50% marks as well as in Punjabi  as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR B.A. with at least 45% marks as well as 50% marks in Punjabi as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard; OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year BA Ed.; ORB.A. with at least 50% marks as well as in Punjabi  as an elective subject and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education); AND (ii)  In case of B.Ed., Punjabi as teaching subject from a recognized university; (iii)  Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.
  8. TGT Urdu :: (i)  B.A. with at least 50% marks in Urdu as an electivesubject and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR B.A. with at least 50% marks as well as in Urdu as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR B.A. with at least 45% marks as well as 50% marks in Urdu as an lective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations  issued from time to time in this regard; OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year BA Ed.; OR B.A. with at least 50% marks as well as in Urdu as an elective subject and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education); AND (ii)  In case of B.Ed., Urdu as a teaching subject from arecognized university; (iii)  Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.
  9. TGT Physical Education :: (i)  Graduate with Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or its quivalent from a recognized University; (ii)  Matric with Hindi/ Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with  Hindi as one of the subject;
  10. TGT Home Science :: (i)  B.Sc. Home Science and 2-year Diploma in ElementaryEducation; OR B.Sc. Home Science with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR B.Sc. Home Science with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard; OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. l. Ed.); OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least  50% marks and 4 year BA/B.Sc. Ed.; ORB.Sc. Home Science with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education); OR (ii)  In case of B.A., at least 50% marks in Home Scienceas one of the elective subject; (iii)  In case of B.Ed., Home Science as a teaching subject from a recognized university; (iv)  Matric with Hindi/ Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with  Hindi as one of the subject. NOTE: (i) There will be relaxation of 5% in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com/Senior Secondary level for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Backward Class (BC),Other BackwardClass (OBC) and Differently abled candidates. (ii) A diploma/degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered . However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of india (RCI) only shall be considered.
Level –3:Post Graduate Teacher(PGT) -  (i) English, (ii) Hindi, (iii) Geography, (iv) Sanskrit, (v) Home Science, (vi)  Sociology, (vii) Physical Education, (viii) Psychology, (ix) Punjabi, (x) Urdu, (xi) History, (xii) Political Science; (i)  Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject with  at least 50% marks from a recognized university and B.Ed. from recognized university; (ii)  Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit  or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects.. iii)  Consistent good academic record
QUALIFYING MARKS : 
  • For all Categories except Scheduled Castes and Differently abled/Physically Challenged : 60% (90 Marks)
  • For Scheduled Castes and Differently abled/Physically Challenged : 55% (83 Marks) 
HTET 2013 ADMIT CARD DOWNLOAD ONLINE : ADMIT CARDS WILL NOT BE SENT BY POST. Every eligible candidate may download his/her admit card from the website (www.hbse.ac.inor www.htet.nic.in) with effect from 25.05.2013 onwards and appear inthe examination at the allotted examination centre. After taking print out of “Roll No./Admit Card”, go through the particulars etc. and if any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph  and signatures is noticed, the candidate should immediately contact the Special Examination Branch of the Board and get the same corrected.

OTET 2013 : BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION,ODISHA, CUTTACK HAS ISSUED THE NOTIFICATION No455_/OTET/Dt17/04/2013 FOR ODISHA TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (OTET), 2013 AND ALSO INVITING OMR APPLICATIONS FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES . THE DETAILS OF THE OTET-2013 IN BRIEF ARE AS GIVEN BELOW
NAME OF THE EXAM : OTET-2013 ODISHA TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST
ELIGIBILITY : Eligibility criteria is as given beow
  • CATEGORY-A (PAPER-I): Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT)/ 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) approved by RCI. (Rehabilitation Council of India)/Graduation with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT) / 2-year Diploma in Special Education approved by RCI.
  • CATEGORY –B (PAPER-II):Graduation with at least 50% marks with 1 year Bachelor in Education (B Ed)/ 1 year B. Ed. (Special Education) approved by RCI./Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed (integrated Course).Provided that relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks in +2 or graduation level, as the case may be, shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/SEBC category.Provided further that candidates having minimum marks in +2 or graduation level, as the case may be, prescribed at the time of admission in Teacher Education courses shall also be eligible to take the OTET, 2013.
SYLLABUS STRUCTURE AND PASS CRITERIA: There are two papers  (Paper-I & II) and the duration of each paper is one hour and Thirty Minutes for 150 MCQ (Multiple Questions in each paper). The details syllabus is available in the Board’s website“www.bseorissa.in” and “www.scertorissa.org” The minimum pass mark in each paper is 60%. In case of SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/PH the minimum pass  mark is 50%.The results shall be processed on  the basis of the information provided by the candidates in their OMR Application Forms and OMR Answer Sheets and no complaints shall be entertained after submission of the application forms.
ISSUE OF CERTIFICATES:  Certificates  shall be issued to the successful candidates and their eligibility mentioned above shall be verified by the recruiting agency/ appropriate authority. Qualifying the OTET would not confer a right for recruitment/ employment as it is only one of the criteria of eligibility for appointment.  Date of examination and the time table will be intimated latter on. All the details will be available in the Board’s website.
COST OF APPLICATION FORM : Rs350 /-  for each paper
APPLICATION FORMS :OMR application forms are available at the NODAL CENTERS . The list of nodal centers are given below .
DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH THE APPLICATION FORM : The candidates are required to submit the following documents with the application forms.
  1. Original and self attested photocopies of the required certificates in respect of their academic and training qualifications as specified in Para (i)
  2.  Original and self attested photocopies of  the certificate in respect of SC/ST/OBC/SEBC to claim the relaxation as specified in Para (i)
  3. Physically Handicapped Certificate duly countersigned by the CDMO (for candidates having 40% or more
  4. disability.)
  5. Studentship certificate (for candidates pursuing final year training courses.)
  6. Two recent B& W/ Colour pass port size photographs.( One to be pasted on the OMR Application Form and the other to be attached with the documents submitted.)
  7. Self attested copy of the order showing the proof of engagement  as Siksha Sahayak (S.S.) as per the
  8. advertisement issued in December’2011 by the State Govt.
  9. Self attested down loaded photocopy of the result of the OTET-2012.( for failed candidates of OTET-2012)
