The rate of financial assistance will be maximum Rs. Fifty thousand(Rs. 50,000/- for Gazetted Post; and Rs 25,000/- for Non- Gazetted Post) only as support to the minority candidates who have cleared the Prelims conducted by Union Public Service Commissions; Staff Selection Commissions or State Public Service Commissions etc for Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Civil Services.

CBSE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR SINGLE GIRL CHILDREN

The objective of CBSE merit scholarship scheme is to provide scholarships to the meritorious Single Girl Students, who are the only child of their parents; and have passed the CBSE Class X Examination with 60% / 6.2 CGPA or more marks/ grades and are continuing their further school education of Class XI and XII.

I.Rate of Scholarships and mode of payment :
i.The rate of scholarship shall be Rupees Five Hundred (Rs. 500/-) per month. A Scholarship awarded under the scheme shall be paid for a maximum period of two years.
ii.Payment will be made through demand drafts/ pay orders

NATIONAL OLYMPIAD PROGRAMME IN PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY,ASTRONOMY AND JUNIOR SCIENCE 2013-2014 by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education(HBCSE).

The National Olympiad programme in physics, chemistry, biology, junior science and astronomy is overseen by a National Steering Committee constituted by the DAE. The Olympiad programme is financially supported by Board of Research in Nuclear Science (BRNS, DAE), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and Department of Space, Indian Space Research Organization (DoS,ISRO).The programme follows a five stage process. Stage I of the programme is the organizational responsibility of the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT). All the subsequent stages are conducted by HBCSE.

I.SELECTION PROCEDURE :- The selection procedure will be in five stages.

II.APPLICATION PROCEDURE :-Online application.

MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.

I.NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS :- Every year 20000 scholarships will be distributed among the
students of minority communities throughout the country.

II.SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS :-
1.Maintainance Allowance(for 10 months) : Rs.10,000 per annum for hostler and Rs.5000 per annum for day scholar.
2.Course Fee : Rs.20,000 per annum for both hostler and day scholar

LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) Golden Jubilee Foundation presents LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME for the STUDENTS who are from the FINANCIALLY BACKWARD FAMILIES all over the India.

I.DETAILS OF THE SCHEME :-

1.Number of scholarships : This scholarship will be awarded to 10 male students and 10 female students (TOTAL 20 SCHOLARSHIPS) in every divisional centre of the LIC for acquiring higher education in the areas and disciplines mentioned below.

2.Areas and disciplines :-

A.    1.Medical.
    2.Engineering.
    3.Graduation in any discipline.
    4.Diploma course in any field.
B.    vocational courses in Industrial Training         Institutes(ITI) or Colleges/Institutes recognised by     the Government.

3.Eligibility conditions :-

1.For Medical,Engineering,Graduation in any discipline, Diploma course in any field : Students who passed XII class or equivalent with atleast 60% of marks or equivalent Grade in the Academic year 2012-13 and whose parents/Guardians Annual income from all sources is less than or equal to Rs.1,00,000(Rupees one lakh only).
2..For vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes(ITI) or Colleges/Institutes recognised by the Government :Students who passed SSC(10th class) or equivalent with atleast 60% of marks or equivalent Grade in the Academic year 2012-13 and whose parents/Guardians Annual income from all sources is less than or equal to Rs.1,00,000(Rupees one lakh only).

 ELIGIBILITY FOR GRANT OF SCHOLARSHIP :

1. For Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses- Candidates who have passed Class XII exam or equivalent in the Academic year 2011-12 with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade and annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed ` 1,00,000/- per annum.
2. For Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges/Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) -  The basic educational qualification is relaxed to Class X or equivalent with at least 60% marks in the Academic year 2011-12 subject to income ceiling of parents/guardians.

AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP : An amount of `10,000/- per annum will be awarded to the selected candidate which is payable in ten monthly installments of ` 1,000/- each. The Scholarship amount will be transferred to Bank Account of the selected scholar through NEFT. Therefore in case the candidate is selected for scholarship, the Bank Account details and IFSC code are compulsory.
PERIOD OF SCHOLARSHIP : Scholarship shall be provided for the entire duration of the course subject to the candidate fulfilling the requisite eligibility conditions for renewal
SELECTION PROCESS : Selection of LIC Scholar will be on the basis of merit and family background such as percentage of marks in class 12th /10th and annual income of the family. Eligible Students having the lowest income shall be given preference in the ascending order.

ELIGIBILITY : Students pursuing full time/regular courses (not correspondence or distance mode) in these streams & studying in Schools / Colleges / Institutions / Universities recognized by MCI / AICTE / State Education Boards / State Govt. / ICSE / ISC / CBSE / Central Govt. / Association of Indian universities, shall be eligible to apply. The student should have bonafide admission in the 1st year of School/College/Institute/University in the academic year 2012-13. Students having confirmed admission in the first year of full time Engineering degree course (minimum 4 years), MBBS (minimum 4 years), MBA (minimum 2 years) are eligible to apply. Students of two years full time/regular courses (not correspondence or distance mode) post graduate courses in Business Administration/Management recognized by Central/State Govt./Association of Indian universities and which are equivalent to MBA, are eligible for Management stream scholarship. For 10+/ITI stream (minimum 2 years), students of 11th standard as well as those in the 1st year of 2 years ITI course are eligible to apply
