The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.
I.NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS :- Every year 20000 scholarships will be distributed among the
students of minority communities throughout the country.
II.SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS :-
1.Maintainance Allowance(for 10 months) : Rs.10,000 per annum for hostler and Rs.5000 per annum for day scholar.
2.Course Fee : Rs.20,000 per annum for both hostler and day scholar
III.HOW TO APPLY :-Students should apply online. For this they should visit the website through URL www.momascholarship.gov.in. A link to the site is also provided in the website of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, i.e. www.minorityaffairs.gov.in
IV.Last date for online registration : 30-09-2013.
