MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS GOVT OF INDIA HAS ISSUED THE NOTIFICATION FOR ASSISTANT CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE OFFICER – GRADE II/EXECUTIVE EXAMINATION – 2013 FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF IB ACIO-II 2 EXECUTIVE POSTS IN INTELLIGENCE BUREAU AND ALSO INVITING ONLINE APPLICATIONS FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES AND THE DETAILS OF THE RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION IS AS GIVEN BELOW . NAME OF THE POST : IB ACIO-II/EXE ASSISTANT CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE OFFICER – GRADE II/EXECUTIVE
VACANCY : 750 Posts (UR-380, OBC-202, SC-112 & ST-56)
SALARY AND PAY : Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200 (PB-2) (Plus admissible Central Government allowances).
AGE LIMIT : Candidates age must be 18 to 27 years as on 12 AUGUST 2013  . Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates. Upper age limit is also relaxable for  Departmental Candidates  with 3 years  continuous service, upto 40 years and also certain other  categories in accordance with the instructions or orders  issued by Central Government from time to time.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates who possess the following qualifications are eligible to apply .

• Essential qualifications : Graduation or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Desirable qualifications : Knowledge of computers.

SELECTION PROCESS : Those candidates who acquire a specific standard in the written test (Paper-I & II) will be called for the interview. The date, place and time of interview shall be intimated to the candidates online.Based on the performance of the candidates in written test (Paper-I & II) and Interview, they will be selected subject to the condition of successful completion of their Character and Antecedent verification  and thereafter medical examination.
EXAM PATTERN SYLLABUS : The written examination for the post of ACIO-II/Exe contains two papers namely Paper I (Objective type) and Paper-II (Descriptive type on English language only). The total duration for both Papers is 1 hour and 40 minutes. Paper I will focus on General Awareness/General Knowledge, Reasoning, Comprehension and Mathematical ability while Paper II will be designed to check the knowledge of English writing skill and analytical capability.
APPLICATION FEE : Candidates nee to pay an application fee Rs.  100/-  (Rupees  Hundred  only). Only male candidates belonging to General and OBC category are required to pay the fee. All SC/ST and female candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.Fee can be paid any one of the following mode

• OFFLINE PAYMENT (Cash Deposit): In this option, the applicant will be required to take a printout of Challan form (wherein name of the applicant and his/her Registration number will be printed) and deposit the fee in cash in any branch of State Bank of India after a gap of one working day. A counterfoil of this Challan would be given back to the candidate by the bank, indicating the transaction ID, which may be retained by the candidates.
• ONLINE PAYMENT  (Internet Banking and ATM-Cum-Debit Card): The applicants having internet banking facility of State Bank of India or having ATM-cum-Debit card of state Bank of India can pay the fee online. Once the online payment option is selected by the applicant, he/she would be automatically guided to the website of State Bank of India and after paying the fee through a user friendly interface, he/she would be guided back to the registration form/website and a confirmation is immediately flashed regarding receipt of payment.

NAME OF THE POST - VACANCY - EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : 

1. ACIO-II 2 WT WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY - 57 POSTS - (a)(i)Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics or Mathematics; or Diploma in Radio Engineering awarded at the end of three years course from any recognised polytechnic or M.Sc. (Wireless) in Tele-Communication Engineering; and (ii)Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications or at least one year Diploma in Computer Application from any recognised Polytechnic or Institute after graduation, or (b)Bachelor of Computer Applications or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or BE or B.Tech in Software Engineering or Information Technology from a recognised university
2. ACIO-II 2 Tech TECHNICAL - 19 POSTS -  (a)(i)Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics or Mathematics; or Diploma in Engineering or Technology in the subjects i.e. Electronics, Electrical, Tele-communication & Computer Science awarded at the end of three years course from any recognised polytechnic or M.Sc. (Wireless) in Tele-Communication Engineering; and (ii)Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications or at least one year Diploma in Computer Application from any recognised Polytechnic/Institution; or (b)Bachelor of Computer Applications or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or BE or B.Tech in Software Engineering or Information Technology from a recognised university.

SALARY AND PAY : pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/-with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-(plus admissible Central Government allowances in the Bureau)
AGE LIMIT : Candidates age msut be Between 18-27 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. The closing date will be 30 days from the dateof publication of this advertisement in the Employment News. Upper age limit isrelaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. Also relaxable for Departmental Candidates, with 3 years’ continuous service, upto 40 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government from time to time. The date of birth (as well as the name) will invariably be taken as recorded in the Matriculation certificate. No other proof of date of birth shall be accepted.
SELECTION PROCESS : The written examination for the posts of ACIO-II/WT and ACIO-II/Tech will be multiple choice objective paper in General Knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, Comprehension, Physics, Electronics and Mathematics etc. The total duration for the Paper is 1 hour and 40 minutes.
APPLICATION FEE : Rs. 100/- (RUPEES ONE HUNDRED ONLY). General and OBC candidates need to deposit Rs. 100/-. However, SC/ST candidates and all women candidates are exempted from paying examination fee.
