• PAY SCALE & EMOLUMENTS :The Scale of Pay for the post of Manager (Scale-I) at present is Rs.14500 – 600/7 – 18700 – 700/1 – 19400 (9 stages).Approximate Gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay is Rs.29,786/- (as at August 2013) plus other allowances applicable.
• AGE (as on 01.09.2013) : Above 18 years - Below 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.09.1985 and later than 01.09.1995 (both dates inclusive).
• Educational Qualification (as on 01.09.2013):Graduation with 60% aggregate marks or Commerce Graduate with 55% aggregate.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : Candidate should be a domicile of Andhra Pradesh and should have been residing continuously for 5 years or more in Andhra Pradesh prior to 01.09.2013.
 

RECRUITMENT PROCESS :  a)  42% of the total posts notified, shall be filled from candidates hailing from ‘Specified Local Area’ by following the spirit of Presidential Order 1975. b)  From amongst all the eligible applicants, whether such applicants are local candidates of ‘Specified Local Area’ or not, an overall merit list shall be drawn at the first stage and the said merit list shall be placed in the roster as per rule of reservation and a provisional merit-cum-roster list prepared.

• SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through the written exam .

• EXAM PATTERN : The Examination shall consist of two parts viz. Part-I and Part-II and shall be held on a single day. The Part-I will carry 100 marks having 100 questions of 1 (one) mark each, comprising of multiple choice objective type questions on English (30 marks), General Studies (40 marks) and Arithmetic (30 marks),Part-II shall consist of conventional type questions on (a) Group -A - English, and (b) Group-B – Bengali/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali carrying 50 marks each for Group –‘A’ and Group ‘B’. The Duration of Part-I Examination shall be 1 hour and 30 minutes and the duration of Part-II Examination shall be 1 hour. 

• APPLICATION FEE : No application will be considered unless accompanied with the requisite receipt of Examination fees of Rs. 200/- and Processing fees of Rs. 20/- (Total amount - Rs. 220/-) only. SALARY AND PAY : Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs 8,860/- per month (i.e. Rs 8,040/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates only) in the scale of Rs 8,040 – 410 – 9270 – 500 – 11,270 – 550 – 13,470 – 650 – 15,420 – 720 – 16,140 – 990 – 20,100 (20 years) and other allowances, viz. AGE LIMIT : Candidates age must be between 18 and 28 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/05/1985 and not later than 01/05/1995 (both days including) are only eligible to apply.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC. A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service. Candidates applying for post in a particular state should be proficient in the language of the state i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language.

Minimum pass marks shall be 40 % for all candidates other than SC/ST Category candidates and 35 % for SC/ST Category candidates.  Theindicative scheme of the question paper (i.e., approximate number of questions ± 10%) shall be as follows:   i.  General Knowledge & Awareness, including General Science  - 60 questions   , ii.  Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Ability and Reasoning – 30 questions , iii.  Computer Awareness – 10 questions  ,  iv.  English Comprehension – 10 questions  ,  v.  Hindi Comprehension – 10 questions 
2. Interview  –  10 marks:  The focus of interview will be on personality traits, including communication skills, of the candidates.  There will be no minimum pass marks  for the interview, but failure to appear in interview will disqualify the candidate .
3. Medical  Fitness  Test  (Qualifying Test):  All candidates called for interview and/or placed on the final merit list or panel of wait listed candidates  shall have to undergo  and pass medical fitness test as prescribed by JMRC
