CHANDIGARH TRANSPORT UNDERTAKING CTU IS INVITING ONLINE APPLICATIONS FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF BUS DRIVERS POSTS FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES AND THE DETAILS OF THE RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION IS AS GIVEN BELOW
NAME OF THE POST : BUS DRIVERS
VACANCY  : 114 POSTS
SALARY AND PAY : Pay Band  Rs. 5910-20200+Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- (initial start  Rs. 9880/-) plus usual allowances as admissible to the  Chandigarh Administration employees from time to time.
AGE LIMIT : Candidates age msut be 25 to 35 years as on 1 JANUARY 2012
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Matric pass from any recognized board/ university , Should hold a valid licence to driveheavy transport vehicle for 5 years and AND  At least five years experience to drive heavy transport vehicles and has not been convicted for any offence indicating that he is not capable of performing efficiently the duties of the post.
SELECTION PROCESS : All eligible candidates will be called for Driving  Skill Test comprising of following three tests: -

1. Dug/Ramp Test - Reverse driving (one chance).
2. “8” shape Driving Test - Those who qualify the  dug/ramp test will have to qualify this test (one chance).
3. Road Test – Those who qualify above both (a) & (b) tests, will have to appear in the road test (one chance).

CALL LETTER DOWNLOAD : Call letters for Driving Test/Written Test should be downloaded from the website by the candidate when he/she will be asked to do so. No separate call letter will be issued. Candidate must give his/her mobile number and e-mail address in the application format for further communication
 APPLICATION FEE : Rs. 400 for General/OBC and Rs. 200 for SC/Ex-Servicemen candidates. Processing fee will bedeposited in any branch of SBI while filling online application.
