II.ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS :-

III.AGE LIMIT AS ON 01.08.2013 :-
1.For Geologist,Group 'A' and Assistant Geologist Grade-1 : Must have attained the age of 21 years(minimum) and must not have attained the age of 32 years(maximum).
2.For Jr.Hydrologist(scientist B) and Assistant Hydrologists:-
Must have attained the age of of 21 years(minimum) and must not have attained the age of 30 years(maximum).

IV.MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :-
1.For Geologist,Group 'A' and Assistant Geologist Grade-1 :Master's degree in Geological science or Geology or applied Geology or Geo-Exploration or Mineral Exploration of EngineeringGeology or Marine Geology or Earth science and Resource management or Oceanography and coastal area studies or petroleum Geosciences or petroleum Exploration or Geo technology from an university.
2.For Jr.Hydrologist(scientist B) and Assistant Hydrologists:-Master's degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology from an university.

V.FEE DETAILS :-candidates who are not exempted from payment of fee are required fo pay a fee of Rs.200/-(Two hundred only either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility.-> for furthers details regarding FEE DETAILS please visit official website (www.upsc.gov.in).
VI.HOW TO APPLY :-Candidates are required to apply online using the link (www.upsconline.nic.in).Detailed instructions for filling up the online application are available on the above mentioned website .
VI.SELECTION PROCEDURE :-
1.PART -1 : Written Examinaion in the subjects mentioned below.

2.PART-2 :Interview for personality test of such candidates as may be called by the commission, carrying a maximum of 200 marks.
