VACANCY : 1436 posts
SALARY AND PAY : pay band –I Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade pay Rs.2000/- plus usual and admissible allowances to Central Govt. employees from time to time. In addition, Ration allowance, Medical Assistance, free uniform, free accommodation, free leave pass, etc. are admissible to BSF
AGE LIMIT : Candidates age must be between 18 to 23 years as on 1st Aug’2013. Relaxable in respect of the candidates for SC/ ST/OBC and other special categories of personnel in accordance with the instructions issued by Central Govt from time to time.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University/Board with. i) Two years work experience in respective trades;OR ii) One year certificate course from Industrial Training Institute/Vocatio nal Institute with at least one year experience in the trade; OR iii) Two years Diploma from Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade.
SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through HEIGHT BAR TEST , PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST PET ,PST PHYSICAL STANDARD TEST , TRADE TEST WRITTEN TEST and MEDICAL TEST .
ADMIT CARD : Admit card with roll number and general instructions for appearing for the test/interview will be issued 15 days prior to the date of test to the eligible candidates. They will be called to appear for the same at a place preferably within their Home State for which no TA/DA is admissible
APPLICATION FEE : Candidates need to pay an application fee through Postal order or Demand Draft for Rs. 50/- in favour of Concerned IG/DIG/Commandant payable at bank of concerned Headquarter, under which their state falls, as mentioned against each with Code No. However, no postal order or Demand Draft is required to be sent by SC/ST candidates and Ex- servicemen.
