1. Electrician  70   SEATS -  1 YEAR
2. Fitter  20    SEATS -  1 YEAR
3. Welder  40    SEATS -  1 YEAR
4. Machinist  10    SEATS -  1 YEAR
5. Electronic Mechanic  25    SEATS -  1 YEAR
6. Instrument Mechanic  25    SEATS -  1 YEAR
7. Draftsman (Mechanic)  10   SEATS -  1 YEAR
8. Painter (General)  40    SEATS -  1 YEAR
9. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)  10    SEATS -  1 YEAR
10. Sheet Metal Worker  50     SEATS -  2 YEARS

 STIPEND DURING THE TRAINING : During the one year training period candidates selected as  Apprentices will be paid a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 3000/- during the first year and 4000/- during the second year as applicable. The above rates will be effective from 01 Oct 2012. No other allowances will be paid during the period of Apprenticeship training
AGE LIMIT : Candidates age must be 18 to 25 years as on 31 AUGUST 2012
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates who were Pass in SSLC and ITI  (NCVT) certificate in the respective trade securing minimum of 60% of marks from a recognised ITI. are eligible to apply
SELECTION PROCESS : The method of selection will be based on the marks secured in the SSLC examination, ITI marks and a Personal Interview held at Cochin Shipyard Ltd, Kochi.
