NAME OF THE POST = = VACANCY : 

1. NURSING SISTER TRAINEE :: 21 POSTS
2. NURSING BROTHER TRAINEE :: 8 POSTS

SALARY AND PAY :  Candidates selected for the post of Nursing Sister (Trainee)/Nursing Brother (Trainee) will be required to undergo, on the job training, for a period of 2 (two) years, which can be extended for a further period of 2 (two) years, as per requirement.ii. During the period of training, they shall be paid consolidated pay of Rs.10700/- per month for the 1st year and Rs.12200/- per month for the 2nd year of training. On successful completion of training, they shall be considered for regular employment in S-3 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs.9160-3%-13150/-.iii. On their regularization in S-3 grade, in addition to Basic Pay and Industrial DA, they shall also be entitled to get Contributory provident Fund, Gratuity, medical facility for self and dependant family members, reimbursement of Local Traveling Expenses, LTC/LTA, etc. as admissible under rules of the Company. In addition, HRA will be paid only where Company accommodation is not available.
AGE LIMIT : Candidates maximum age must be  28 years as on 1 JUNE 2014
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :Candidates who possess B.Sc.(Nursing) from an institution recognized by Nursing Council of India with valid registration in Nursing Council of India / State Nursing Council and having at least 01 (one) year post qualification experience in a hospital / nursing home. or Intermediate or 10+2 Science with Diploma of 03 (three) years duration in General Nursing and Midwifery from a Govt. recognized institute with valid registration in Nursing Council of India / State Nursing Council; and having at least 01 (one) year post qualification experience in a hospital / nursing home are eligible to apply .
SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through written test and interview only .
APPLICATION FEE : Candidates belonging to General/OBC category will be required to pay application fee of Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only). Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/ESM category will be required to pay processing fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only). In addition to the application / processing fee as above, candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs.30/- (Rupees thirty only) as Bank Charges
MODE OF FEE PAYMENT : State Bank of India (SBI) has been authorized to collect the application / processing fee in a specially opened “Power Jyoti Account No. 31955226331 at SBI, RSP Campus Branch, Rourkela”, on behalf of SAIL/RSP. Candidate has to take a printout of the bank challan available on the Application Registration Portal and approach a branch of SBI for depositing the fee. Candidates should retain a copy of the bank challan with them. On receipt of the fee, the concerned branch of SBI will issue a unique Journal Number and the branch Code of the Bank. The Journal Number and the branch Code are to be filled up by the candidate during online registration. The SBI branches will accept the fee from 02/07/2014 to 09/08/2014 during working hours. Fee shall not be collected by any other mode. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance.

NAME OF THE EXAM : OTET-2013 ODISHA TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST
ELIGIBILITY : Eligibility criteria is as given beow

• CATEGORY-A (PAPER-I): Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT)/ 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) approved by RCI. (Rehabilitation Council of India)/Graduation with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT) / 2-year Diploma in Special Education approved by RCI.
• CATEGORY –B (PAPER-II):Graduation with at least 50% marks with 1 year Bachelor in Education (B Ed)/ 1 year B. Ed. (Special Education) approved by RCI./Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed (integrated Course).Provided that relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks in +2 or graduation level, as the case may be, shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/SEBC category.Provided further that candidates having minimum marks in +2 or graduation level, as the case may be, prescribed at the time of admission in Teacher Education courses shall also be eligible to take the OTET, 2013.

SYLLABUS STRUCTURE AND PASS CRITERIA: There are two papers  (Paper-I & II) and the duration of each paper is one hour and Thirty Minutes for 150 MCQ (Multiple Questions in each paper). The details syllabus is available in the Board’s website“www.bseorissa.in” and “www.scertorissa.org” The minimum pass mark in each paper is 60%. In case of SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/PH the minimum pass  mark is 50%.The results shall be processed on  the basis of the information provided by the candidates in their OMR Application Forms and OMR Answer Sheets and no complaints shall be entertained after submission of the application forms.
ISSUE OF CERTIFICATES:  Certificates  shall be issued to the successful candidates and their eligibility mentioned above shall be verified by the recruiting agency/ appropriate authority. Qualifying the OTET would not confer a right for recruitment/ employment as it is only one of the criteria of eligibility for appointment.  Date of examination and the time table will be intimated latter on. All the details will be available in the Board’s website.

SALARY AND PAY : Jr. Maintenance & Operator Trainee (JMOT) & Jr. Telecom Technician Trainee (JTTT) shall be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.6,000/- per month. The training will be for a period of 1 (one) year. On successful completion of the training, the candidates will be appointed as Semi Skilled Assistant (Electrical/Telecom) in the Semi Skilled –A category in the respective cadre on probation for 1 (one) year in the Scale of Pay of Rs 5200-20,200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2100/- with other allowances like Dearness Allowance(DA) at the applicable rates, Medical Allowance, Conveyance Allowance etc. as applicable in  OPTCL  from time to time.
AGE LIMIT : A candidate must be above 18(eighteen) years and below 32 (thirty two) years of age as on 01.03.2013. The Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 (five) years in    case of SC, ST,SEBC, Ex-Serviceman and Woman candidates and 10 (ten) years in case of PWD Candidates.Provided that a person who comes under more than one category mentioned above, shall be eligible for only one benefit of upper age relaxation, which shall    be considered most beneficial to him/her.In case of candidates engaged through outsourcing agency in OPTCL and have completed at least 2(two) years of continuous engagement as on 28.02.2013, the relaxation in upper age limit shall be subject to maximum of 5 years in addition to age relaxation mentioned above. The candidates shall have to furnish the proof of experience along with their application.
SELECTION PROCESS : The selection process involves written test and interview. Eligible candidates will be called for written test comprising multiple choice questions from General Aptitude and Subject Knowledge. General Aptitude Test will comprise of General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Test. The written test will be conducted at Bhubaneswar.There shall be negative marking @0.25 for every wrong answer.    Shortlisted candidates, who will qualify in the written test, will be called for interview. There shall be negative marking @0.25 for every wrong answer.Interview: Shortlisted candidates, who will qualify in the written test, will be called for interview.

NAME OF THE POST : ASO ASSISTANT SECTION OFFICERS
VACANCY : 811 POSTS (11-Governor’s Secretariat +800-State Secretariat )
SALARY AND PAY :  scale of pay of Rs.9300-34800/- carrying Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- with usual Dearness and other Allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.
AGE LIMIT : A candidate shall be under 32( thirty-two) years and above 21( twenty-one) years of age on the 1st January, 2012 i.e. he/she must not have been born earlier than 2ndJanuary, 1980 and not later than 1st January, 1991.The upper age-limit is relaxable by 5 (five) years for candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Castes(S.C.), Scheduled Tribes(S.T.), Socially & Educationally Backward Classes(S.E.B.C.), Women, Ex-Servicemen and by 10 (ten)years for Physically Handicapped candidates.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : A candidate  must  posses a Bachelors  Degree in any discipline from  a recognized University; or posses such other qualification equivalent there to and must have adequate knowledge in computer application.
SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through written test exam and skill test .
APPLICATION FEE : A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.300/-(Rupees three hundred)  only.  Candidates  belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe of Odisha only are exempted from payment of this fee.The candidates are required to take a printout of the finally submitted Online Application Form for future use and take a printout of Online Challan (Pay-in-Slip) for payment of requisite fee at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI).
