TAMIL NADU PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION HAS ISSUED RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT GRADE-2 II POSTS IN Tamil Nadu Forensic science Subordinate Service (Code No.033) AND ALSO INVITING ONLINE APPLICATIONS FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES AND THE DETAILS OF THE RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION ARE AS GIVEN BELOWNAME OF THE POST : SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT GRADE-II 2
VACANCY : 33 POSTS
SCALE OF PAY : Rs.9,300-34,800/- (PB2) + Grade Pay 4,500/-
AGE LIMIT : Candidates minimum age must be 18 years . Candidates maximum age - for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all Castes No Maximum Age Limit , but for “Others” [i.e Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs] maximum age must be 30 years as on 1 JULY 2013
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : M.Sc., (Forensic Science) Degree and a degree in the subject, for the group as shown in the explanation below to which he/she is appointed or M.Sc., Degree in the subject for the group as shown in the explanation below to which he/she is appointed. Other things being equal, preference shall be given to a person who holds a degree in M.Sc., (Forensic Science)
SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through COMPUTER BASED WRITTEN EXAM and ORAL INTERVIEW .
HALL TICKET DOWNLOAD : The Hall Tickets for eligible candidates will be made available in the Commission’s Website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net for downloading by candidates.
No Hall Tickets will be sent by post.
APPLICATION FEE : Examination fee Rs.150/- (i.e. Cost of Application Rs.50/- + Examination fee Rs. 100/-) (Rupees one hundred and fifty only). Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- towards Application Cost. Candidates have also to pay the service charges applicable to the Bank or Post Office or Fee Processing Agency.
