SIKKIM POLICE CONSTABLES & FOLLOWERS RECRUITMENT 2013 

OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE ARMED POLICE & CID POLICE HEADQUARTERS GANGTOK – 737101 IS INVITING APPLICATIONS FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF CONSTABLES AND FOLLOWERS POSTS AND THE DETAILS OF THE RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION IS AS GIVEN BELOW
NAME OF THE POST - VACANCY  = SALARY AND PAY = AGE LIMIT = EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS  :

1. CONSTABLES = 223 POSTS =  pay band of   Rs. 5200-20200 plus grade pay of Rs. 2400 = Age – Not less than 18 years and not more than 22 years as on 1st May, 2013 with an upper age limit relaxation is  as :a).  Five years in case of  BL/SC/ST(open) b).  Three years in case of MBC/OBC(open) c).  32 years in case of  BL/SC/ST for Home Guard candidates. d).  31 years in case of MBC for Home Guard candidates. e).  30 years in case of OBC for Home Guard candidates. ==  Class-  X pass from  any recognised board for open candidates  & Class-VIII pass  for Home Guard candidates. Those candidates who have appeared in class-X examination in March/April, 2013 for which results are awaited, shall also be eligible to apply.
2. FOLLOWERS = 60 POSTS =  pay band of Rs.5200-20200 plus  grade pay of Rs.2200   = Age - Not less than 18 years and not more than 22 years as on 1 st May, 2013 with  relaxation of 5 years for BL/ST/SC, 4 years for MBC and 3 years for OBC   and with relaxation as at c to e above for Home Guard candidates. ==  Minimum Class VIII pass

SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT TEST PMT , PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST PET , WRITTEN TEST  and SKILL TEST FOR FOLLOWERS
APPLICATION FEE : Candidates need to an application fee in form of Bank Receipt of Rs.50/-  under Revenue  Head-0055-Police-800 other receipts
