Applications are invited from Indian citizens who have appeared at the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified BY Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank for the post of Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose).
COMPANY PROFILE :-Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank, sponsored by Punjab National Bank came into existence with the amalgamation of two RRBs, viz. Himachal Gramin Bank, Mandi (sponsored by Punjab National Bank) and Parvatiya Gramin Bank, Chamba (sponsored by State Bank of India) with its Head Office at Mandi. The area of operation of the Bank is spread over to 12 districts of Himachal Pradesh with a network of 188 branches.

PAY SCALE & EMOLUMENTS :-
- Officer Scale –I : 14500-600/7 – 18700-700/2 – 20100-800/7 – 25700 ==>At present the total starting emoluments are approx. Rs. 29060/- per month inclusive of DA & HRA at the current rate depending upon the place of posting.
- Office Assistant (M.P.) : 7200-400/3 -8400-500/3 -9900-600/4 -12300-700/7 -17200-1300/1-18500-800/1 -19300 =>At present the total starting emoluments are approx. Rs.14500/- per month inclusive of DA & HRA at the current ratedepending upon the place of posting.
AGE LIMIT AS ON 01-06-2012 :-
- For Officer Scale- I : Above 18 years - Below 28 years
- For Office Assistant : Between 18 years and 28years
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AS ON 01-06-2012 :-
- For Officer Scale- I : i. Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Proficiency in local language
- For Office Assistant (M.P.) : Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent Essential: Proficiency in local language

- Candidates are required to apply online through Bank’s website www.himachalgraminbank.org between 24.09.2013 and 09.10.2013. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
- The Application printout along with the fee payment receipt and required copies of documents should be kept ready for submission if shortlisted for Interview.
SELECTION PROCEDURE :-Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted byIBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview.
PROBATION PERIOD & SERVICE INDEMNITY BOND :-1.Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of,
- Officer – Scale I – 2 years
- Office Assistant (M.P.) - 1 year
.At the time of joining, all the selected candidatesshall be required to execute a service
indemnity bond and undertaking to serve the Bank for a minimum period of three years or else pay to the Bank an amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- (One Lac Rupees) in case of Officer (Scale –I) and to serve the Bank for a minimum period of two years or else pay to the Bank an amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand Rupees) in case of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), if he/she resigns from the servicesof the Bank before completing the stipulated minimum service period.
