PAY SCALE :-The pay scale will be in pay band-I of Rs.5200-Rs.20200/-with Grade pay of Rs.1800/- per month.
AGE LIMIT AS ON 01-01-2014 :-The age of the candidates must be between 18 years (minimum) and 33 years (maximum)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :-
- Minimum 10th pass of ITI or equivalent at the time of applying.
- .Candidates having higher Educational qualification can also apply.
APPLICATION FEE :-
- The candidates applying online can take print out of challan and remit the examination fee either in any branch of state bank of India or Indian bank of any of the Head post offices.
- The candidates applying offline can pay the fee in the form of crossed Demand Draft from state bank of India or any of its Associate banks drawn in favour of " THE ASSISTANT PERSONAL OFFICER/RECRUITMENT,RRC,CHENNAI-600008".
APPLICATION PROCEDURE :-
ROCEDURE FOR APPLYING ONLINE AT WWW.RRCCHENNAI.ORG.IN :
- The candidate must have a valid E-mail ID.
- Log onto www.iroams.com and follow the instructions.
- Fill in the columns and confirm the details.
- Submit the application and confirm the details.
- Enter the OTP(one time password) which you will get SMS in your mobile.
PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING MANUALLY :
- Download the application form from the RRC's website.
- Fill up the columns in CAPITAL LETTERS neatly and cleanly.
- Paste your recent passport size photograph and put signature.
- Enclose copy of certificate attested by a Gazetted officer.

- Easy payment of fee,zero bank charges,if the fee is paid through any branch of state bank of India.
- No need to sign or affix LTI.
- No need for spending printout of documents to RRC.
- No need to scan and upload photograph or signature of certificates.
- SMS and e-mail alerts conveying messages relevant to the candidate like his/her Roll number,Date of Exams,venue etc.
SELECTION PROCEDURE :-The recruitment procedure consists of a Written Examination followed by Phisical Efficiency Test and Medical Examination.
